Good news

Orinoco was back at the hospital this week. He had his 4th chemo treatment and his first scan since the amputation.

Very happy to hear that the scan found no signs of metastatic disease. They want to give him 3 more doses of chemo and scan him again so we will see what it looks like then.

In the meantime we will continue to adore and spoil him as he rightly deserves:)

  1. YAAAAAAAAAY FOR ORINOCO!!! Good job!!!

Keep on soaking up that loving and spoiling Orinoco! Tripawds can pretty much get humans to give them anythi g they want!

Just curious. Your Onco is recomending seven chemo? I know we usually see four or five here, and sometimes six, but rarely seven. It’s always helpful to hear what recommendations are out there and why regarding chemo. Thanks for sharing.

Okay, you know good reports mean steak and ice cream, right? And on top of that, this celebration definitely calls for pictures!

Way to rock the chemo Orinoco! We’re all cheeri g for you!

    Hugs!

    1. Definitely steaks, he’s not keen on ice cream!
Yes, looking at 7 lots of chemo, I understood they were doing 6 but got the report on his last visit and they said they wanted 3 more. Will have to get more info next time I see the vet. The vet did say that sometimes they go past 6 depending on how the dog is responding.

  2. I just went back and saw the vlog I missed of Orinoco’s first run in the park! Brought tears of joy to my eyes!

A stunning picture of a dog living life to the fullest! Absolutely beautiful picture!

    Love to all!
